The largest static event is held at the end of October at the British Motor Museum, Banbury Road, Gaydon. This year the venue has once again been finalised for us to return with a large static aircraft and model trade display.

Also the British Motor Museum at Gaydon is very interesting and well worth a visit.

The Large Model Aircraft Show, organised by the Large Model Association, returns for a tenth year at the British Motor Museum.

This popular Show gives visitors the chance to see over 100 large static radio controlled model aircraft without the restriction of flight line fencing at public shows. Builders and pilots will be at the Show for visitors to talk to about their various projects.

There is a large trade area offering everything you need to get off to a flying start in model aircraft building, from miniature propellers to small jet engines and pre-assembled models.

There is discounted entry for LMA & BMFA members when they produce their membership cards (£10.00 each). Normal entry fees apply to the public giving access to the Museum, Collections Centre and Large Model Aircraft Show.

3 workshops on modelling techniques from Paul Dudley, Tony Nijhuis and Paul Lewis.

The British Motor Museum is five minutes from Junction 12 of the M40, on the B4100 near the village of Gaydon. It is signed locally with brown Motor Museum road signs. Exit the M40 at Junction 12 and turn left, following the brown Motor Museum signs. Continue for approximately 1 mile and the entrance to the British Motor Museum is on your left.

If using a Sat Nav for directions we recommend you enter the British Motor Museum as a point of interest rather than using the postcode.

The Museum has free and ample parking for its Museum visitors.
